David Herrera: Head Athletic Trainer for the Boston Red Sox Organization (Short Season A Team).

Hello to all YAC Family,

Here is an update on my career as an Athletic Trainer Certified. I Graduated from Graceland University in Dec. of 2007 with a degree in Athletic Training. Soon after I passed my BOC Certification exam to become a Certified Athletic Trainer. Then in Jan. of 2008 I was hired as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Rookie ball team, with the Boston Red Sox Organization, in Fort Myers, Florida.   I began my second year with the Red Sox Organization in Feb. of 2009 and was promoted to the Short Season A team (The Lowell Spinners, Massachusetts). I have been truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with such a great organization. I Thank the Lord, John, Toa, Al and the entire YAC organization for stepping into my life and making this awesome once dream a reality. YAC gave me the tools and guidance needed to fulfill my dreams and the Lord put them on my path. I am excited to see what the future brings to YAC and wish all YAC members the best.
